Enormous wine selection. The food was excellent here and was perfect for a nice summer dinner. We heard great things about the pork chop here, and had to try some. We also tried the recommendations of our waiter, who was professional and offered some excellent suggestions. I think we’ll be back soon, and would recommend this to others looking for an intimate setting date night location.

Came here last night to celebrate my birthday and from start to finish, my husband and I were blown away! The dinning area is very cute, and much quieter than the bar area (which was beautiful as well). The food was awesome! We ordered the mussels for an app, along with their version of french onion soup, followed by the rack of lamb and the grouper special. I cannot stress how excellent the food was! I saw some other reviews saying the portions are small...I don't agree! I had to stop eating the side dishes to save room for dessert! The waiter was incredibly knowledgable about the menu and the wines- One of the best dining experiences we have had yet! Thank you JJs!

Perfect location for a date night. The atmosphere is amazing, food is great, and service is excellent. We ordered a few different items. Appetizers: Lobster and goat cheese purses (14/10) Pizza to go(was smaller which was perfect. At first look, seemed okay, but turned out amazing) Entree: Chicken marsala: We both loved this. My wife ordered this and enjoyed it thoroughly. Came with some delicious mashed potatoes. 16oz ribeye done medium(Started ordering medium places since so many of my steams were coming out blue rare) and mashed potatoes. Steak was a little over charred on the outside, but was perfect inside and delicious. Dessert: Limoncello (recommended by the waiter). We both thought this was a highlight of the night. Perfect amount of sweetness. We wanted a whole cake and not just a slice. Overall, highly recommend for a date night! It is a little pricey and more of a fine dining atmosphere, just a heads up

I enjoyed it. Never had Lamb before the Rack if Lamb was honestly one of the best things I've ever had. My wife had the Salmon she liked it. But I also don't just eat at fancy places like this. It's pretty expensive. If you're looking for a bottle of wine the got from $20 to $9,000 I'm not an alcohol fan. Pretty quick food service. And honestly I think I'm just not fancy enough to truly enjoy the cuisine. I'd still come back

Location is great, with convenient garage parking ($12). Food was exceptional. We had the lobster purses and wrapped shrimp to start, as well as a bottle of Rutherford Hill and some cocktails. We continued to enjoy the beet salad followed by our entrees. The 12oz strip truly tastes like a filet and the pork chop would be a fantastic choice as well. Both have a char flavor from the grill that is mouthwatering. Be careful of the spinach and tomatoes as they’re loaded with garlic, and bread is an additional charge. We finished the meal with four glasses of Tawny port, the chocolate ganache, as well as a limoncello cake. All worth it! The only rub, which unfortunately really stuck with us, was the service. The older female server spent time telling us that she knew everything about the menu, in a way that was awkward. She recorded one meal incorrectly which is fine… but when we found out as the food was being delivered, she challenged us, doubting what we were saying, and trying to argue that she heard something different. The whole table was in agreement regarding the original order. She then asked what we wanted to do with the incorrect dish, but quickly took it before a decision was made and left one person without food. She was rough around the edges for sure and pushy in her selling style. Otherwise, JJ’s is fantastic!

Upscale dining experience. Great service. Variety of dishes with a few specials. We tried the sirloin, lamb, chicken marsala, boar ragu, and daily pasta. All tasted good. The lamb was a little thin and overcooked, but we felt bad sending it back. Chicken was perfectly prepared but the mashed potato pairing was just ok. The rage was excellent as well as the pasta. Dessert was also quite delicious. Inwould have to say the specialty drinks were almost better than the food and the wine list extensive. The one thing that would have been good to know going in (or I could have missed it) there was a 3.5% CC charge. I expect this from a mom and pop shop, not an upscale restaurant. If I would have known or caught his before our visit, we would have gone elsewhere.
